The Challenge
As Lumio grew from a successful Kickstarter brand into a global direct-to-consumer business, the company needed a scalable growth system capable of supporting product launches, ecommerce growth, customer retention, and international expansion. Marketing, ecommerce, and customer acquisition needed to work together while maintaining profitability and a premium brand experience.
What I Built
Led ecommerce growth, digital marketing, and creative strategy across Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, Kickstarter campaigns, SEO, CRO, and content marketing. Redesigned and continuously optimized the Shopify website, rebuilt the email marketing system, managed paid acquisition, directed creative production, and developed integrated marketing campaigns across web, email, social media, PR, and advertising channels.
Outcome
Built and managed a multi-channel ecommerce growth engine that supported record-breaking launches, successful product introductions, and long-term revenue growth. Email became one of the company's largest revenue channels while customer acquisition remained profitable and the business achieved significant direct-to-consumer growth.
